Hi all,
I am using a MBPro with 10.14.6. I try to only capture the screen with the audio from the video/screen with no voice from my side.
In the overall audio settings I get the list with the various 'devices' including desktop-audio and desktop-audio2. I assume these are the ones I have to pick instead the Mic / AUX option. However, I cant select desktop ones. I am only able to select anything in the mic/aux options which records my and background noise as well (without applying filters).
I selected the 'screen recording'. Checking the audio settings, I can work with the selected mic/aux settings.
Obivously I am doing sthg wrong, but it seems to me these are more fundamental settings I need to get right.
Anyone has an idea to help me? Best, T

Obs No Desktop Audio Mac
If the OBS Studio is muted in Volume Mixer, undoubtedly you won’t hear the desktop sound. So the first troubleshooting step is to check your Volume Mixer. 1) Right-click the speaker icon at the taskbar and click Open Volume mixer. 2) Click the speaker icon under OBS to unmute this application. On your Mac, click the Apple icon from the left corner of top menu bar, go to System Preferences Sound Output, select Soundflower (2ch) as the sound output device. Launch OBS, go to its Settings Audio, set Desktop Audio or Mic/Auxiliary Audio to Soundflower (2ch) but leave others to be Disabled. By default, OBS Studios will record your desktop’s audio (aka the system sounds your computer makes) and your built in computer microphone, if you have one. From the Mixer dock, you can see the current list of audio sources that OBS has loaded and the current noise levels they are each detecting. How to get my contacts on gmail on iphone. How to Live Stream From your Mac using OBS Installing OBS. The first step would be to, of course, download OBS from the official website.Make sure you download the macOS version with.dmg extension.
